PALMIST, NUMEROLOGIST, PSYCHOLOGIST
Most people, glancing at their palm, see only lines and folds. Andrey Maltsev sees stories, creative potential, inner harmony — even a personal sense of style.
Behind the glamorous chaos of Fashion Week, his readings have become a quiet ritual. Designers, models, and stylists come to him not only for predictions, but to better understand themselves.
“FASHION BEGINS LONG BEFORE THE WARDROBE — IT BEGINS IN YOUR PALM.”
“NUMBERS CHOOSE THE OUTFIT BEFORE THE HANGER DOES.”
“AT FIRST THEY LAUGH. THEN THEY ASK FOR ANOTHER READING.”
“YOUR PALM SAYS ‘YES,’ BUT YOUR TOES SAY ‘NO.’”
After all, if fashion is a reflection of our inner world — why not read its map from our own hands?
“Lines and signs on the palm can indicate creative abilities, sensitivity, tactility, and the vision of beauty. A curl near the ring finger or the Sun line, for example, speaks of a person’s artistic nature.”
“These signs are like a hidden code that reveals how our inner world is reflected through style.”
“Numerology works like a stylist made of numbers — it explains why one person gravitates toward minimalism, while another thrives in maximalist chaos.”
“Some say it gives them confidence before the runway. When you understand your strengths through your palm, you walk differently. You glow differently.”
“Humor is as essential backstage as high heels — and palmistry brings that human touch to the glitter.”
“Fashion and palmistry are two sides of the same mirror. The palm helps you understand your inner world — your energy, your rhythm. Fashion expresses it outwardly.”
“Start with self-analysis: look at your palm, calculate your life path number, and choose what resonates with your energy. That’s how authenticity is born.”
“Fashion becomes magic when you see it not with your eyes — but with your energy.” — Andrey Maltsev
Top Boutiques:
FEDOROVA
If you dream of seeing your fashion brand in one of Dubai’s top boutiques, this interview is your golden ticket.
We sat down with Olga Fedorova, fashion buyer at Linkstore Wafi Mall, one of the city’s most curated concept stores.
“Just being beautiful doesn’t mean it sells.” — Olga Fedorova
“MY JOB? CURATING WHAT PEOPLE ACTUALLY WANT TO WEAR.”
– Olga, what does a fashion buyer really do — beyond traveling and watching fashion shows?
– (laughs) That’s the fantasy! The reality is more spreadsheets and WhatsApp messages than runway glamour.
I evaluate collections, attend private showroom appointments, analyze sales history, and constantly ask myself: Will our clients fall in love with this? Will it sell at full price? Will they wear it next weekend?
“The magic isn’t in the clothes — it’s in knowing which clothes will live in someone’s wardrobe.”
– Let’s get real. What mistakes do fashion brands make when pitching to concept stores like Linkstore?
• Sending a collection without a proper line sheet or price list
• Having no sizing strategy — everything is XS and S
• Ignoring the regional climate or cultural preferences
• Creating pieces that look amazing on Instagram but are impossible to wear in real life
• Acting like the boutique needs the brand — when it’s actually a partnership
“Fashion retail is not a gallery. If it doesn’t sell, it doesn’t stay.”
