IUROVA:
of the Soul
for Emirates Fashion Week Magazine
– El’eeté is not just jewelry art, but a way to reveal oneself. How do you embody this idea in each piece?
– Every person comes into this world with a unique energy that defines their purpose, strengths, and life mission. These energies are what fascinate me as a jewelry designer. They set the main tone of each creation. When a person orders a piece from El’eeté, neither they nor I know how it will look in the sketch. The forms and gemstones only appear once, when with the person’s permission, I connect to their field and feel their power — beautiful, unique, and unrepeatable. This energy determines the shape and essence of the piece, while the gemstones guide their owner to unlock this power.
It is, in a way, a key to one’s own inner strength.
– Your brand emphasizes customization. How important is individuality for the modern woman when choosing jewelry?
– Individuality has always mattered — but today, it matters more than ever! We have chosen to be born in a time when the new vibrations of the Earth demand authenticity for harmonious and fulfilling growth. Focusing on individuality, in my view, brings to life the powerful idea that “Everything is possible in this life.”
– Sensuality and emotion are key elements of El’eeté collections. What feelings do you think a woman experiences when wearing your jewelry?
– Oh, this is the most fascinating part of the process! The emotions are always different — yet powerful and deeply moving. Just imagine: the immense, unique potential of your soul, captured in a small piece of jewelry. And now, you touch it for the very first time. What do you feel? Surely something mixed — sensations unlike anything else. They are powerful… and sometimes, it takes courage to embrace them!
– Your approach to jewelry is unique — you feel your clients. How does this principle manifest in the design and philosophy of El’eeté?
– Every piece begins with connection. I don’t just design — I listen, I feel. The jewelry becomes a mirror of the soul, a reflection of the wearer’s energy. That’s why no two pieces are alike. They are born from the same place as poetry or music — from emotion, intuition, and resonance.
– To create an El’eeté piece, I need a specific bouquet of energies.
It might come from a particular person, or a family heirloom piece, in which I channel the ancestral force of an entire lineage. Given this, it’s almost impossible to create something “universal” — every story is far too unique, with nuances that must be honored for the piece to be truly alive and powerful.
Still, El’eeté has a limited collection — Collection No.1. It was the very first one I created, filled with the power of the primordial woman — the one who, reconnecting with her wild, natural essence, rediscovered her true self. Is that theme relevant to women today? Absolutely.
– What details or elements make an El’eeté piece special for its owner?
– Every El’eeté piece carries symbols and hidden details invisible to others — known only to its owner. The most meaningful messages are always intimate and sacred.
– Do you have stories of women for whom El’eeté jewelry became a way to express their individuality or inner strength?
– Yes. Every story is about revealing strength or beginning a new life chapter. For example, when a gemstone appears in someone’s life, waiting to be set into a piece, I always explore the role this stone is meant to play for them at that particular moment — so I can create the right symbolism to illuminate their path.
And it’s not only about women — men too can embark on this journey of self-discovery through jewelry.
“THE FUTURE BELONGS TO MEANING.”
– How do you see the future of fine jewelry — will it be more about art, emotion, or innovation?
– “Technology and materials evolve, but the true value of jewelry lies in what it awakens in people,” concludes Elvira Iurova. “We are entering an era when beauty will no longer be enough — only authenticity will shine.”
