The power of personal style
By Emirates Fashion Week Magazine

In the ever-evolving world of fashion, one truth remains constant — style is deeply personal. It’s not about chasing trends; it’s about self-awareness, confidence, and the art of visual storytelling. Few understand this better than Ekaterina Potanina, a personal stylist whose refined eye and intuitive approach have helped more than two hundred clients discover their authentic style.

“It’s never just about clothes — it’s about how you feel within them,” says Ekaterina.

For the past three years, she has guided entrepreneurs, event organizers, and everyday professionals in finding a wardrobe that mirrors their inner world. Her mission is simple yet profound — to help people look

and feel like the best version of themselves without wasting time on endless fashion trial and error.

THE LANGUAGE OF SELF-PRESENTATION
Today, being stylish means being self-aware. While fashion changes every season, personal style endures.

Each person’s habits, lifestyle, and rhythm define their aesthetic — and a true stylist helps translate that individuality into a visual language. Ekaterina’s work often extends beyond wardrobe selection: she helps her clients choose their ideal hair color, manicure shape, or jewelry tone — gold or silver — depending

on their complexion and energy. These subtle details form the “grammar” of appearance, shaping the first impression that often speaks louder than words.

“A stylist is like a translator,” Ekaterina explains. “We help people express who they are — not hide behind fashion, but highlight their truth.”

FASHION AS AN EVOLVING ART

Remaining relevant in fashion demands constant observation and growth. Ekaterina immerses herself in every major runway season, studying new silhouettes, fabrics, and moods — not merely to follow them, but to interpret them for real life.

Her latest insights come straight from Mi lan Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2026, where boldness met sensuality and classic codes were redefined with fresh experimentation. MILAN FASHION WEEK SS26 — KEY HIGHLIGHTS The season opened with Jil Sander and Si mone Bellotti’s modern constructivism: struc tured coats and sheer dresses in black, blue, and red. Max Mara reinvented the power suit with petal ruffles and sharp ribbons, while Fendi played with textures — knits and mesh trans forming into sculptural layers. Etro celebrated bohemian elegance with jac quard, chiffon, and statement jewelry, and Ferragamo

reimagined animal prints through graphic transparency. Missoni’s signature zigzag shimmered with a new softness, while No.21 broke preppy rules with lace and asymmetry.

Emporio Armani balanced femininity and ease in flowing silhouettes, and The Attico declared lace the symbol of fearless sensuality. From Cavalli’s golden glamour to Moschino’s irony and Versace’s pop-art revival, every brand echoed the same sentiment — freedom of expression.

Even Giorgio Armani’s emotional 50th-anniversary tribute and Prada’s refined play of skirts and shorts reinforced the season’s message: individuality reigns supreme.

STYLE BEYOND SEASONS

As Ekaterina summarizes, “Fashion is a mirror of time, but style is a reflection of the self.”

The Spring/Summer 2026 season celebrates freedom, contrast, and the courage to be authentic — the very principles that guide her work as a personal stylist.

Because, in the end, hiring a stylist isn’t about luxury — it’s about self-discovery. Just as a therapist helps you listen to yourself, a stylist helps you see yourself.

And that’s where true elegance begins.
