LETTER FROM THE EDITOR
READ.
LISTEN. FEEL.

When I was invited to serve as an editor for the inaugural issue of Emirates Fashion Week Magazine, I felt more than joy — it was a sense of returning to a space where meaning meets beauty, and inspiration becomes breath itself.

I am a strategist in international marketing. My projects live across Dubai, Paris, Milan, Moscow, Rome, London, New York, and beyond.

This summer, I finally allowed myself to pause — strolling along the shores of Jūrmala, breathing in the sea air, listening to the wind. It was my first real vacation in three years. And it was there, on the Baltic coast, that the phone rang. On the other end was Marina, with the words: “Anna, I have an offer you cannot refuse.” And so, this story began.

From the very moment we started working on the issue, I knew: it would be about people. About those who create fashion — not as an industry, but as a living, breathing force.

I am a lover of interviews. I adore hearing the truth between the lines, catching a glance, a pause, a moment of silence.

The first issue is entirely made of conversations. Honest, personal, candid. Dialogues about fabrics and philosophy, about inspiration and fear, about how beauty is born when you remain true to yourself.

Emirates Fashion Week Magazine is more than a magazine. It is a space for voices, stories, and revelations.

It was born in Dubai — a city where the horizon merges with dreams, and where fashion becomes not just a look, but a state of mind.

Welcome to the first issue.
Read. Listen. Feel.
And be inspired — just as we were inspired by those who shape the fashion of the world.
